2014 Yamaha Ar192
I had what seems to be the very common problem of 7100 rpm and 40 mph max. I tried the ribbon delete, cold air intake, and different types of fuel. My results were the same with everything I tried.
With 2 adults, 3 kids, full of fuel and loaded with gear, I could run 7700 rpms and 49 mph, but only for about 1 minute. After the first run, I would never see over 44 mph the rest of the day. Depending on the water and air temps, I might not get over 42 mph.
The fix: I ordered a "Type 14" intercooler from Frozen Boost. Install was very easy with these materials:
Type 14 intercooler
2- 1/2" NPT x 3/4" barbed elbow
4 - 1" hose clamps
2 - 3/4" to 5/8" barbed couplers
2' - 3/4" ID water hose
1 - 3"x3" 90deg silicone coupler
1 - 3"x2.5" 90 deg silicone coupler
2 - 3"x3" 45 deg silicone coupler
1 - 3"x3" 45 deg aluminum piping
7 - 3" hose clamps
reused hose clamp on supercharger.
The factory cooling lines were not upgraded. This was set up to go back to stock easily for warranty repairs.
Took about 2 hours to remove factory intercooler and complete the install. Parts were $325.
The results were as good as I had hoped. WAY MORE low, mid and high end power. With 2 adults, 1 kid and a full tank of 93 octane, top speed was 50 mph on the rev limiter. I did a 10 mile run staying between 40 and 50 mph. At no time did it heat soak and limit max speed.

I hope this copied quote from another thread gets through; sounds like your issue.
